Google Maps Management

Google Maps Management

Pear Tree Media manages Google Business Profiles for Australian local businesses. One person does the work. That person is me, Jarrod, and I am in Mildura.

What you get every month

  • Three posts a week to your Google Business Profile. Twelve to thirteen a month. Most agencies publish four to eight.
  • Every review answered, written by me, in Australia. Not a template and not an AI. Half of consumers say a generic or templated reply puts them off, and that is most of what is out there.
  • Negative reviews flagged to you the same day I see one, before I write anything.
  • Photos uploaded and kept current. No stock photography goes on your listing.
  • A review request script you can send by SMS or email, so new reviews keep arriving. How recent your reviews are does more for local ranking than anything else you can control, and three quarters of people only take notice of reviews from the last three months.
  • Your services list, opening hours, holiday hours, map pin, address settings and the web page your listing points to, all checked and kept correct. Quiet, unglamorous, and among the few things that actually move a local ranking.
  • A report in your inbox by the 10th of the following month.
  • A heatmap in every report, showing where your business comes up across your area and where it drops off.

Before any of that starts

I go through the whole profile once and fix what is wrong. Primary category, secondary categories, services, hours, map pin, description, and the page your listing links to. This is the part that moves rankings, and it is included at no extra charge. On its own it is $300 to $1,500 of work in this market.

I ask you for at least twenty photos to start with. That is the only thing I need from you.

What it costs

$447 a month plus GST

Month to month. No lock-in, no minimum term, no cancellation fee. You can stop at any time and the next payment does not happen.

The monthly charge is $491.70, being $447 plus GST. A tax invoice follows each payment.

What I guarantee

Three posts a week, and your report by the 10th. If either of those does not land in a given month, you get a double pass to the cinema.

That is the whole guarantee, and it covers the two things I control. I do not guarantee a ranking position, and neither can anyone else. Google does not sell them and does not disclose how it sets them. Anyone who promises you a spot is guessing with your money.

What I do not do

  • Suspension recovery. If Google suspends your profile, that is specialist work outside what this covers.
  • Social media management. What goes on your Google profile stays there.
  • Anything I cannot show you the result of.

Who does the work

JP

Me. There is no account manager, no offshore team, and nobody different turning up after you sign. The person you speak to is the person who does the work.

That sets a limit on how many businesses I can take at once. If I am full I will say so and offer you a place on a list, rather than sign you up and do it badly.

See where you stand first

The Local Visibility Score takes about three minutes and gives you a scored breakdown across three areas: whether people can find you, whether they trust what they find, and whether they choose you over the business next door.
